Nats announcers were 100% positive Leake had to throw a fastball there. When Zimmerman missed the announcer said he couldn't catch up to it. LOL, that was an off speed pitch bro.

ugh
The only pitcher doing reasonably well is Carlos Fisher, but he has been strickly out of the bullpen.

Yeah -- maybe you are right -- 43 IP 47 Hits but only 9 BB & 43 K's --

Looking great after Leake tonight!

Despite what some of the more vocal posters say on here- I think Chapman is the obvious answer. Unless they know something they haven't made public, he is the guy.

Zero chance of Chapman moving into the rotation at this point if at all this season, the way to go is call up either Francis or Tomko, put Leake in AAA to get things fixed and hope at this point.

Chapman if he had been developed right would be the logical choice, but right now he is not ready to move to the starting rotation.

Rolen's career is obviously over. He has looked completely lost @ the plate the entire season. Just waiting for the injury that will put him out of his misery.

The only arguement I have heard not to start Chapman is that the bullpen needs him. That is like keeping Votto on the bench to pinch hit when you need him.
