Daniel Tuttle wasn't kicked out of the game this time, but still lasted only one inning: 4 H, 6 ER, 3 BB, 1 K, 1 HR. Dayton was nipped, 16-4. Juan Perez (2 doubles) and Ryan Wright had three hits apiece, and Josef Terry (HR) and Yovan Gonzalez had two.

Re: Saturday - May 12, 2012 Minor League Updates
Hamilton is 2-3 with a triple and his 34th steal, but it's still 1-1 in the fifth.
Edit: Cingrani has struck out the last four batters, two swinging and two called: 5 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 8 K, 0.69 ERA. Last edited by mace; 05-12-2012 at 11:35 PM. |

Re: Saturday - May 12, 2012 Minor League Updates
Another night, another great outing from Cingrani: 6 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 8 K, (ERA at 0.68).
Bakersfield tied 1-1 going into the top of the 7th. Let's get some runs! Last edited by Blitz Dorsey; 05-12-2012 at 11:49 PM. |

Re: Saturday - May 12, 2012 Minor League Updates
Chris Berset is an intriguing prospect if he profiles as a good defensive catcher. Has anyone heard anything about his defense? Ryan Hanigan was pretty much an afterthought as a prospect until about the time he turned 27 years old. Chris Berset is a switch-hitter who lacks power but has great plate discipline. He has also thrown out a respectable 35% of attempted base stealers so far in his career.
