It's both. I think dusty was valuing moving the base runner up without burning a pinch hitter. He did the same thing on sat when I was there and latos couldn't do the job.

It's been said several times. 20 straight days with a game. Gotta rest guys sometime or the whole team will be dragging at the end of it.

Worth noting though that Leake didn't go up immediately looking to bunt, he laid it down with 2 strikes in fact.

Giving the guy a day off against a tough lefty and saving him for the right moment. That was a CitiField sac fly ... It's a 3 run homer at GABP.
