Re: 5/17/12 - Reds @ Mets
Bruce K's. Not a good day at the plate for the Boss. 4-4 to the bottom of the 8th.

Rob Johnson lays down a perfect bunt single. 1 on, 1 out.

Re: 5/17/12 - Reds @ Mets
Mets have had baserunners all day. Has there been a 1-2-3 inning?

Man, Wright is just locked in. Another battle between he and a Reds reliever.

Except he took strike 3 right down the middle, and it didn't get called. I mean right down the middle. Good god.

This has been 1 disappointing game, blowing a 4-0 lead to be down 5-4.

Not meant to be, errors, borderline calls against the Reds, poor base running, just not going to happen.

Plus it's not like Chapman and Ondrusek were going to go the whole year without being scored on.

Re: 5/17/12 - Reds @ Mets
I've seen a lot of horrible balls-strikes calls in my day. That one might have taken the prize. 2-2 on Wright, right down the middle, and it's somehow called a ball! Then Wright doubles on the next pitch. Amazing. I mean, that wasn't even close. I re-wound it. Wow.
