Tuesday, May 22, 2012, Minor-League Updates
After going scoreless over the last eight (of 13) innings last night, the Bats went the distance today. Lost 2-0, in spite of another good effort from Brett Tomko. (Well, there were six walks.) Cody Puckett was 2-3 with a double. And that was about it.

Bakersfield at Visalia.
Hamilton doubled, stole third (41) and scored on a grounder. Lutz and Mattair singled but nothing came of it. Josh Smith with a perfect frame, including one strike out. 1-0 after one.

Blaze tack on three in the top half of the second.
Barnhart doubles. Moves to third on a groundout. Hamilton walks. Steals second (42). Lohman jacks one out. 4-0.

Lohman with his second HR of the night. He has 6 RBIs in the fourth inning. It's 9-0. Even Juan Duran has a hit!
