It was a short double, not a gapper. It was cut off, and he probably had to hold up briefly to make sure it wouldn't be caught. He had no chance to score.

It didn't get to the wall. The RFer did a really good job at cutting it off and just flinging it back to the infield.

There was two outs I was always under the under standing that with two outs you run on everything that is hit.

Since there was two outs, i hope the latter part of your post is not true.

I went back and timed it....from contact to ball being thrown back into the infield was only 7 seconds....Votto kinda got to second because Colorado was just trying to get the ball in. Stubbs did nothing wrong.

Sorry guys, I forgot there was two outs. I was just assuming Drew held up, but obviously he didn't. It just wasn't hit far enough to score on.
