He got hit, but he only gave up 3 runs. If not for Heisey misplaying the ball to start the game, Leake's night may have been better. It wasn't his night, but still the Rockies only scored three runs. This isn't the night to complain about pitching.

Nice win tonight. Leake was shaky early, but super work by Hoover, and the bats really came alive.

Love the way Phillips is spraying the ball right now. When he's hitting the ball consistently into right field, he is a tough out. He's been doing that pretty consistently throughout this homestand. I like how he's coming along. Now, if we can get Bruce going, our middle will look pretty strong.
