He has also been injured too. Sounds like an all-power kinda guy.

Law also didn't like the Billy Hamilton pick in the second round a few years ago. I'll never forget it. Law is a tool.

Re: Official 2012 Draft Day Thread (Day 1)

AD Walker is a lot more raw but I like his upside better than Roache - same kind of power, more athleticism

Brinson for Texas - nice toolsy OFer with some question marks about mechanics. Coachable I'd think. A few years away but high upside.

Rangers take Lewis Brinson, a HS OF at #29 compared to Cameron Maybin.

So far the Indians, Cards and Red Sox have underwhelmed me with their picks but the Bosox still have one left before the sandwich starts

Baseball America top 500 has Lance McCullers Jr. as #13. Does anyone know why he dropped?

Re: Official 2012 Draft Day Thread (Day 1)

McCullers would have to be signability is my guess. Pro father, no need for money and firm committment

Add Jonathan Mayo to the list who predicted Travieso as a first-round pick. (He had him going late-first to the Yanks, but still.)
