Dan Langfield

Thread for information about draft pick, Dan Langfield, RHP.

Interesting tidbit in a recent article:

Quote:
Langfield’s road to Memphis passed through Ohio, where he was a member of the prestigious Ohio Warhawks summer team, whose alumni include MLB players such as Brandon Phillips, Roy Halladay and Brian Roberts. Langfield drew the attention of the Memphis coaching staff as he helped the Warhawks win the 2008 national title, earning a save in the championship game.

Re: Dan Langfield

Love the live arm and the Reds' brass focusing on stuff, Ks, and BAA.

Re: Dan Langfield

Blog from the Boston.com site, noting he's the 1st Massachusetts native taken in the draft and gives some of his earlier history. I think someone already noted his dad played minor league ball
