I dunno, if Felt can add a mile or two to that fastball, this may not be too bad of a pick. Left-handers can get away with softer stuff.

Felt would be better served to go ahead and go to college and add that velocity - that would be my advice to the kid, but as a Reds fan my advice is to sign.

I am about to head to bed, so I don't have a link, but I saw in a local paper (local to his town) that he was expected to make a full recovery and should be able to play baseball again.

Oh, at least there is some good news in all of this. Obviously, not happy news, with his father dying in the wreck, but maybe he can honor him well from doing what I'm sure his father would want him to do.
