Re: Tigers at Reds 6/10/12 (Sunday Night Baseball)
That's the sad thing - there are multiple umpires in the game this bad. Frustrating.

I was talking about the specific performance. It was an opinion, nothing more,

If you go to bed and there is no snow on the ground, then you wake up the next morning, and there is snow on the ground, what do you think happened when you were sleeping?

If you watch both videos, it leaves little doubt... In the regular speed video, you see him work it up, and then you get to watch another 20 seconds of him not acting like he has a loogey rolling around in his mouth... That ball also has a pretty strong upward plane on it. Laird is calling for it low and away, it ends up high and inside...

Re: Tigers at Reds 6/10/12 (Sunday Night Baseball)
What evidence do we have that there is snow on the ball in the morning?

Quote:
A pitcher has a lougy in his mouth, visible to the naked eye. He puts face into his glove, which is holding the ball, makes a spitting action, and when the glove is removed, the lougy is gone. I guess one could argue that he swallowed the lougy, but that is the only other logical explanation, and odds are very high against that. it would be like arguing that a snow machine left snow on the ground in the precious analogy.
