While it would be nice to have his bat in the lineup, Lahair is not an everyday outfielder, and to pay what they would have to pay would be silly. Especially after trading Alonso. This past off-season. I'll agree that this team is in dire need of offense, but not to the extent of fitting a square peg in a round hole. The Reds are best treading water until the trade deadline and being able to weigh all their options. Stubbs has struggled, but I'm liking Heisey as an ever day LF more and more. I know people don't think the Reds have time, but their offense may just work itself out on it's own.

Cuddyer at 10 mil as someone that has a career ops 40pts higher than Heisey is silly imo.
