Dioner Navarro
A switch-hitter, Navarro now has a .333/.405/.441/.846 line in 123 PA at Louisville.
In 2008 at the age of 24 (in Tampa Bay), he put up this line: .295/.349/.407/.757. This year the soon-to-be-24 Mesoraco has this line: .202/.313/.381/.694. Anyone else think Mesoraco could use a little more seasoning in AAA, and that the Reds should bring up Navarro? Last edited by malcontent; 06-15-2012 at 11:31 PM. |

Re: Dioner Navarro
Hard to make that statement for a guy who hasn't OPSed over .600 in the last 3 years, especially when our outfield is thin enough to start Wilson Valdez there for the first time in his career.
Hopefully Mesoraco recovers quickly from his flu bout, but it's nice to know we have a worthwhile backup option in AAA. |
