Span popped out to left center
Revere grounded out to shortstop
Mauer dribbled one and Hanigan tagged him out.


Span made Cueto work but otherwise painless inning.


And the Cardinals are up 5-2 on the Royals in the 7th.

Offense appears to be disjointed today. At bats by Heisey and Bruce were not good. Might be a long day, but it's early.
