I would not have bunted there. Harris is fast enough that he likely wouldn't have been doubled up on a ground ball. I just don't like giving away an out here in the 9th.

I know it's easier if you know the pitch in advance. I got that.

But a fastball doesn't equal a homer. That pitch was right down the pipe.

Why?

Because of the fear of the walk.

Chapman should mix in other pitches, but can still be effective if he locates his fastball properly.

Since coming off the DL, Rolen is 7-18.

Sending him to AAA is an amazingly dumb idea.
I have reported you to the mods, admins, AND Obama for this vile, personal attack on my awesome ideas.

The hooker/girlfriend/hooker hotel stuff is disconcerting too, not mature enough for sustained success in my esteemed Internet opinion.

Now, let's get a hit and make all of this moot.

There is no book saying you go to a closer.

But Leake going for the fourth time through the middle of the order isn't the best idea.

Nothing wrong with the decision. Chapman is the problem, he's not getting it done.

Why not pinch run Billy Hamilton for Rolen?
