Votto leaves game with knee injury

According to Reds' TV team, he left today's game with left knee inflammation. He left as a precautionary measure, and is receiving further testing and evaluation now.

He'll be fine, he's Canadian. They all have mutant healing powers like Wolverine.

They can do a lot with knees. Anything short of ACLs are fixed in a matter of a week or two even if it needs arthroscopic surgery

Nothing a day off, casually sipping expensive coffee in fancy shirts can't fix

It was a very strange injury. Didn't see anything other than running slowly.

Wonder if he might have some cartilage floating around? I had that problem and it didn't take a lot to get it crossways.

Re: Votto leaves game with knee injury

I think it will come out that he originally injured it a week or two ago. I remember seeing Phillips hit into a DP with Votto on first, and Votto came up limping ever so slightly. I want to say it was during the Mets series, but don't quote me on that.

Maybe it's not been right since then and he tweaked it today.

I remember thinking he sure was slow going first to third last night.

All of that fancy coffee is turning his knees brown!

He's a stallion. A little DMSO will fix that knee right up.

Re: Votto leaves game with knee injury

I got the impression he could have stayed in, hopefully it's nothing a day off or two wouldn't solve.
