Re: 7/4/12- Game Thread- Reds @ Dodgers (There Will Be Blood!)

Leake has been going good since the horrific start.

Baseball is weird. Leake couldn't get anybody out in the first.

Leake going well now. 3-1 Dodgers after 5.

Reds can tie it up by the fifteenth inning if this pace continues. Of course, even I will turn this game off by then, it would be 2 AM or so.

Charlie now sporting an official Reds 4th of July hat, for those keeping track at home.

Arroyo gave the Sheen crew some hats.

I want hats. Why can't I have some hats?

Do a lot of drugs, get arrested a few times, fired off a few shows, then maybe we can get you some.

Reds go down 1-2-3 again. Disappointing. Votto is hitting Harang hard, but only has the double to show for it.

What will it take for Drew Stubbs to be benched? .215 and dropping.

Something worse than 0-27?

LOL, announcers say Votto hasn't had an RBI in seven games. Well he missed two plus games and he has outs hitting in front of him.

As for Stubbs, he's now 0 for 27 but I'm confident he'll get that hit before the All Star break. Just have a good feeling about it.

Nice play by Votto.

Perhaps his career OPS hitting out of the two hole to drop to near .700, which Stubbs is doing his best to insure. I'm sure that's the barometer Dusty's using.

I've been saying that since 2010.

Re: 7/4/12- Game Thread- Reds @ Dodgers (There Will Be Blood!)

Ryan Roberts seems to be the key guy in Stubbs' slump.

Roberts seems to be playing third for the Padres.

Question is whether Drew can beat out a bunt to third. Roberts will be on the spot to try and throw him out for the four game series.

Another nice inning by Leake.

Roberts plays for Arizona.
