Louisville trails 2-0. Negron, Rodriguez and Chad Reineke with singles. Reineke has allowed two runs through three innings on five hits and a walk. On the plus side he has struck out four.

Pensacola just about underway. JC Sulbaran will be assigned the task of shutting down the Barons of Birmingham. I wonder if they are still travelling around in that bus Michael Jordan bought them back in the mid-90s?

Wes Mugarian receiving a rough introduction to A ball. He has given up three runs on five hits and two walks. Two big flies haven't helped. He has struck out three in four innings of work. All three runs scored in the second. Mugarian has retired six in a row. The bats, which were smoking hot on the 4th, are cold. Yorman Rodriguez has the lone hit for the Dragons so far, a single in the bottom of the fourth. Yorman is batting .333 in his last 33 at-bats. Good to see.

Louisville has rallied to take a 4-3 lead after 5 and a half innings of play. Phipps walked, advanced on two ground outs and scored on a single by Corky to break the scoring ice. Negron was hit by a pitch, stole second, was sacrificed to third and scored on another ground out. Rhinehart walked, scored on a triple by Cody Puckett and then was plated by Corky Miller's second single on the night.

Dayton trails 6-1 after six. Four hits for the Dragons, two by Yorman and one each by Silva and Perez. Silva's was a double and he eventually came around to score.
Wes Mugarian with a rough Midwest League debut, giving up five earned runs on eight hits and two walks in 4.2 IP. Lucas O'Rear has taken over pitching duties, giving up one earned run in 2.1 IP.
