No logic in Stubbs playing over Heisey today. None.

Stubbs plays better defense.

Is it just me or does Stubbs not watch the ball all the way in?

I could even see Stubbs playing for defense but I can't imagine another MLB team where he would bat anywhere near 2nd.

Votto strikes out swinging. Again runner on 3rd with 1 out and they fail to score the run. 0-0 mid 3rd.

Another rag-armed pitcher shutting 'em down.

Hopefully they get to him in a few.

Re: 7/8/12 - Reds @ SD Fathers

Is there a way that we can let Thom know that we feel worse about how he does his job than he feels about how Stubbs does his? I would love for him to know that.

Johnny's magnificent baserunning is wasted. Well, you can't say he's not doing everything possible to get that win.

It gets old hearing Thom complain, but he is right on with his frustrations.

I hate an announcer who act like a player's shortcoming is a personal offensive to him.
