Why is everyone saying Hoover? He hasn't been used as a starter at all this season.

cinreds - because Hoover was a starter throughout his minor league career with the Braves. He'd be the third guy probably after Redmnd and Villareal before I'd think they'd dip all the way to AA

He hasn't started all year. He isn't stretched out at all right now. They won't be going to him.

More likely would be Hoover getting a call to the pen and Lecure moving in to the rotation. If its a one time start, I'd guess Redmond or Villareal. If a starter is out for a while, I'd guess Lecure with Hoover moving up. Lecure would probably only go 3 innings the first time in more of a bullpen day, but he should be able to go 5 in his second start and be fine innings wise from there.

Hoover has started a grand total of 20 games above A ball and hasn't been a full time starter since 2010.
