So, looks like the umps are not biased so far this series.

Craig pops up to short.

This was never gonna be an easy series guys. Lot of things going the Cards way but it is very early.

Re: 7/13/12 - Reds vs Cardinals

Craig strikes out to end the inning.

2-0 Cardinals to the bottom of 3 (should be much, much worse so credit to Latos even though he'll likely only last another inning or two).

Afraid I have to relieve myself of PBP duties, sorry for an inconvenience. Will try and pop in periodically though.

Seems like it goes that way often though whenever we as fans get up for a series or game. I know it might not be that way in reality but it sure feels that way.

It could just be a fielders choice. Just as if Cozart decided to throw to second, Phillips was at the bag, but the runner was safe.

Fielders choice means the batter would have been out, but the fielder chose to throw to a different base.

If the teams were reversed we'd be complaining that the Reds didn't score enough to put the Cards away. Cards have left a lot on the table.

No...you can have a fielder choose to throw to another base on what would be a clear out, and it's a FC

Most common one is an infielder throwing home on an easy grounder.

32 pitches vs 68 pitches. Awesome. Just great stuff.

Don't think for a second that the Reds hacking ways doesn't have to do with Dusty. It has everything to do with Dusty.
