Re: Friday 7/13/2012 Minor League Updates

Blue Wahoos take a 5-1 lead in game 2. Bill Rhinehart with a ground rule double drove in two. A walk followed to load the bases and a Bryson Smith triple cleared the bases.

Bakersfield does not broadcast their games, but have about 10-12 left that will be on Milb.tv as San Jose does participate.

Dayton broadcasts all of their home games, but unless it is a Thursday-Saturday home game, it is hardly worth checking out. Thursday-Saturday are broadcast on TV in the Dayton area, so the production quality is there. Any other game they simply use the scoreboard feed and it isn't good at all.

Billings and the AZL don't participate, but one team in the Billings league does. Unfortunately they are in the wrong division, so Billings will only be available for 3 games later this season.

All games are archived and are almost always available within 24 hours of the games end, though sometimes they are available within two hours of the game being over.

It is easily the best money I spend each year.
Wow, better than I expected, but I should know better from you Doug. Thanks bro.

Billings is in a rain delay. The game made it 5 outs before the tarp came out.

Valaika has added a pinch-hit grand slam for the Bats. It's now 22-1.

Pensacola completes the sweep, 6-1. Hamilton walked and stole #4/108. Good pitching from Serrano, Partch and Hayes.

The Blue Wahoos are now 14-8 in the second half, good for first place.

In addition to the two grand slams (Phipps, Valaika) and two other homers (Soto, Puckett), and the five hits from Phipps, Louisville had three hits from Gregorius, Rodriguez, Xavier Paul and Puckett--23 in all. Gallagher went six, and scoreless innings were provided by Judy, Hoover and Webb. The final was 22-1.

Dayton went down 8-1, managing only two hits (Buckley and Yovan Gonzalez).

Re: Friday 7/13/2012 Minor League Updates

Five of the first six Billings batters have struck out. Cisco pitched just one hitless inning. But the Orem starter only went 2/3, so I'm guessing the rain delay was the factor there.

Mustangs trail 1-0 in the third. Amezcua has the ball for Billings.

I only count 19 outs...what about the other 2 (7 IP / 3 outs per = 21) Are DPs, if there were any, scored different?

Sharky Rogers has walked four in the first two innings, but is hanging tough in a 0-0 game. Dominic D'Anna's triple was wasted.

Travis Mattair's 3-run HR has put Bakersfield up 3-0 in the third.
