Tuesday 7/17/2012 Minor-League Updates

Neftali Soto, furious that he wasn't called up to play first base in the absence of Votto*, has homered in the first with H-Rod aboard to give Louisville an early 2-0 lead. Gustafson is charged with protecting it.

* not really

Xavier Paul and Corky Miller with singles. I wonder if Paul gets the call-up?

Jacksonville visits Pensacola. Game underway shortly. For some reason Wirfin Obispo is starting. Ahh, because of the rainout on July 12th.
Dayton has the night off.

Donald Lutz has been moved up to AA.

Tanner Robles is making his third start for Bakersfield. He did not give up an earned run in his first two.

Corky Miller added a dinger to make it 3-0 Louisville in the 5th. Cork and Paul (sounds like a restaurant) are both 2-2.

Re: Tuesday 7/17/2012 Minor-League Updates

i am tired of seeing Jacksonville. When its all said and done, the Wahoos will have played 28 games against them.

29 out of 48.1 Justin Freeman's innings have came against the Suns.

Bats tack on another and lead 4-0. Xavier Paul now 3-3. Gustafson went 5.1 of one-hit shutout baseball. Nick Christiani now on in relief.

LaMarre brings in a run with a 2B to pull the Wahoos even at 3-3 after five.
