Forget the strikeouts...how many ground ball outs has Bailey had tonight? I can only think of one ball that was hit in the air, and that was in the first inning.

Estrada's double was a bouncer over the bag. Both of Braun's hits were on the ground through the infield. Can't remember the other hit.

Doc, when you get a chance, look at some of the specific splits for Homer. I agree that many of his stats are similar.

But Homer has pitched much better with men in scoring position this year. .827 OPS against last season with RISP. This year, .669. And generally he's pitched a bit better with men on base.

Homer used to struggle more with men on base. I think, with maturity, he's handling those situations much better so far this year.

This is Arroyo's strength as a pitcher, generally pitches well in jams. Bailey is learning that skill.
