I agree. Billy's ability to take a walk and work a count — and the progression he's made year to year in this area — is as impressive as his base running ability.

At this point I don't see the Reds moving Hamilton without getting something major back in return. And by major I don't mean Revere, Span, Willingham, Quentin etc... I'm talking about the next level up from them. And I'm not sure if there is anyone on the block who could be that guy.

If the Reds move him it will either be for a good player they can keep for a couple of years, or a game changing rental (ie Cliff Lee a few years ago). The only potential guy I could see as a rental (and I don't think they'd move him) is David Wright.
