Re: 7.24.12 Reds @ Astros
I have no problem getting Paul a start, though I'd prefer it in center; but has Frazier really not earned himself a spot in the order above Xavier Paul? Really?

Re: 7.24.12 Reds @ Astros
Mr. Harrell has allowed an OPS against of .791 to lefty hitters in his career. .693 against righties. Thus, Xavier Paul.
Ths split, however, is much less pronounced for 2012. |

My first reaction was, "Paul who?"
Janish? Wilson? O'Neill? Householder? Derringer? Lynde? (No, he would be in the center square.)

Re: 7.24.12 Reds @ Astros
He's batting Frazier 7th behind Paul and Rolen? My gosh. Rolen okay maybe I can go with that (I think its nuts) but Paul? Why? Paul has zero hits and 1 walk so far. Yeah I know only a few appearances but still his ML history says he is not a good hitter...I do not understand the Dust man sometimes
![]() PS - I certanly hope Paul goes 4-4 and makes my griping look stupid!! Last edited by RedlegJake; 07-24-2012 at 07:13 PM. |

sorry when I posted the lineup I blanked on Paul's first name. Oliver was all that came to mind but I knew that was wrong. |

Re: 7.24.12 Reds @ Astros
What do people think of keeping PBP in this thread to updates on this game? There is a scoreboard watching thread to follow the other games. Some updates are fine in my book but last nights thread was confusing at times.

Re: 7.24.12 Reds @ Astros
If no one else cares, go for it. I am probably crashing early tonight. I just ran into issues a couple of times last night when post was along the lines of "Soto files out to left" and I couldn't think of anyone on the Astros called Soto.

Is this the game thread?
If it is, with one out in the first Stubbs took strike three. Ball had movement but, you know. |
