Re: 7/30/12 - Reds vs Padres
Yeah, still a ton of time. If we have learned anything from the past month or so, it's that this team won't go away.

Re: 7/30/12 - Reds vs Padres
Really. These are human beings playing, not figures on a computer screen or stats on the back of a bubblegum card (dating myself?). They're prone to the same frailties that you and I are, they're going to make mistakes and have bad days and all that. It happens. Leake will return and do better sometime in the near future.

The Reds are still on pace to win this game.

Chris welsh said this park's in Volquez' head. I hope it continues.

Re: 7/30/12 - Reds vs Padres
I like our odds against Volquez as well as the Padres relievers who, while pretty good, are the friendly outside of Petco.

Re: 7/30/12 - Reds vs Padres
Great point. Leake essentially becomes your Bronson after Arroyo's is done as a Red. ERA's gonna be in the 4s, gonna pitch a lot of innings, will have a lot of really good starts and a lot of really bad starts and a lot in between..

I feel sorry for Simon. Only his third AB.
