Re: 8/01/12 Padres @ Reds

Key for tonight is that Marshall pitched two innings last night. Likely out.

So if Reds need relief, aside from Chapman, most likely guys are Ondrusek and Broxton IMO.

It seems that way, although Dusty seems more comfortable not putting him there for one reason or another. But he'd make a great candidate for it, no doubt. It would allow Phillips to be moved to leadoff. That's a double-win.

Baker grounds out to short

Cabrera grounds out to third, runner goes to 2nd

Re: 8/01/12 Padres @ Reds

Arroyo will need to go at least six tonight.

Hard to see that happening from his first inning and a third.

Re: 8/01/12 Padres @ Reds

Arroyo's command, or lack thereof, is giving me a very uneasy feeling.

Amarista lines out to left.

3-2 Reds to the bottom of 2.

Don't know if it's luck or skill, I think skill, but Arroyo is a high end pitcher getting out of jams like that.

Re: 8/01/12 Padres @ Reds

Valdez walks
Valdez takes 2nd on a ball in the dirt
Hanigan grounds out to third
Arroyo flies out to left
Cozart fouls out to first

3-2 Reds after 2

Would've probably been a sac fly if Hanigan got the runner over to 3rd.
