Rolen jumps on the first pitch but lines out to right. 2 out.

There is no question it hit him.

Re: 8/01/12 Padres @ Reds

Is there any doubt who the regular left fielder is?

I actually thought that it missed him. I thought he got his leg up right before it hit the bottom of the wall along the stands. I didn't see the ball boy grimace, and I'm not sure it's possbile for the ball to bounce that far if it hit his leg and not the wall.

Re: 8/01/12 Padres @ Reds

Ludwick is soooooo boring. All he does is drive in runs.

Re: 8/01/12 Padres @ Reds

In terms of offense, Ludwick and Frazier have made this team. They both have done much better than expected and have really given the Reds depth beyond their usual two or three offensive players.

Frazier grounds out to short.

5-4 Reds after 5.

Yeah, I don't think it's as clear cut as kal is making it out to be, but I just watched the replay in slow-mo and it looks like he's right, the ball did hit the ball boy's toe just before he tried lifting up his leg.

At any rate, the run would've scored anyway, so it ends up being a moot point.
