Music Intern Tossed from FSL Game

...for playing "Three Blind Mice" organ clip after a close call.

I thought organists in major league parks used to play that all the time back in the day.

Not to mention I posted the thread almost an hour earlier.

Unless I am crazy, I posted it at 12:38pm, where as you posted it at 1pm.

One thing I didn't put together until now though is that not everyone can post in the ORG....

Doug, you're right. When I first saw your's, for some reason in my head I thought it said 1:58 or something like that. I must have crossed my eyes. Oh well, it's not a competition (says the guy who was half and hour slow!).

In response to the topic though...

Judging by this guys actions, the actions of many MLB umpires, and those on this forum who are familiar with umpiring crews...

I'm not really a fan of the people that are the average "professional" ump. Power tripping, egotistical children. They need to completely get over themselves. The day computers replace every last one of these clowns can't come fast enough.

Sorting in Ap Power Park as I type. Umps came out to the Law and Order theme. Respectful.

Re: Music Intern Tossed from FSL Game

I think the ump over reacted, and if I had been at the game, I woulda been rolling in the aisles. Yeah, maybe the music was 'outta line'. But, ya gotta admit, it was appropriate, and crowd-pleasing. How is this any different, than the DJ/PA playing the Jeopardy theme, when the opponent's manger or coach, is having a discussion, on the mound? Would that not constitute 'bad' sportsmanship. given this umps' ruling?
