Re: Reds vs Pirates

I didn't really expect a win, but I didn't expect to get dominated by Burnett this badly.

Burnett wasn't an all-star.

Cueto wasn't either but he got LaRussa'd

Now that they have a THREE run lead, does someone get plunked in the bottom of the 9th???

Re: Reds vs Pirates

Guy has to make a fatally bad pitch to the NL's leading hitter before he goes out there and actually starts pitching.

Re: Reds vs Pirates

If I'm Burnett, I just keep throwing strikes and worry about hitting someone down the road. We have plenty more games with them this year, and there's no reason to disrupt the rhythm he is in.

You couldn't roll one out there in a better spot.

Re: Reds vs Pirates

Do either of those two "rollers" get through against Phillips/Votto. Not the Reds day today.

Phillips could've maybe got to it deep in the hole but just a weak hit based on 2nd positioning.
