Did anyone think the Reds would not come back down to earth? If they play .500 ball the rest of the way from their mark of 25 over they win 94 games.

No but I think many of us were worried about the offense even during that streak. I understand it might not have been worth the price to make a big upgrade at the deadline but the glaring holes this team had April-Mid July are still there now.
