Wonders if Ironman won, or was just lucky to be tagging along?...All kidding aside.what ya shoot Iron.........I play boggie+ golf. Never took a lesson, don't play regularly and only been playing about 8 years. Love the game, but imo, it is easier to hit a fastball.

I was +3 on the front....he was +7

He had to leave after 9. He coached at Wellston for 30+ years and totaled 530 career wins....including 2 against my team when I played.

Montgomery knew my aunt pretty well. He was the fireman of the year in 1993 with 46 saves and when he retired he was 8th on the all-time saves list with 304 (maybe 308....I forget)

Bruce had a bad slump, then a period of mediocrity, and now he's slumping again. Very depressing.

Slump is Bruce's normal state.

im getting to the point where i expect bruce to always fail at the plate and not be upset unless nobody is on base.

Atleast it hasn't reached Stubbs' slump porpotions. Bruce still is a threat at the plate. Stubbs doesn't scare the AA call up.....

Montgomery was a good pitcher.

shot an 80 today -- with 2 freaking balls in the water & 3 putts inside 4 feet missed --- amazing how bad that feels when almost evry shot was a good or decent one --- have been in an awful funk lately with ball striking --

Anyone else surprised the Cubbies have waited this long to pull their pitcher?
