8/11/12 - Reds at Cubs

Reds lineup:

Quote:
Cozart SS
Stubbs CF
Phillips 2B
Ludwick LF
Frazier 1B
Heisey RF
Valdez 3B
Hanigan C
Arroyo P
One more day off for Bruce to try to get him out of his slump and Rolen still out with back problems.

Votto can't get back fast enough.

Slower now. He had a setback. Another 7-10 days. Removed some floating cartilage in his knee.

Hard to feel good about daily Cairo/Valdez in the lineup. Need to acquire a 1B/3B type who can actually hit.

Phillips pops out to right. Travis Wood hits 94mph on the gun?

DeJesus flew out to deep center
Barney grounded out to third
Rizzo singles up the middle off of a diving Cozart
Soriano flies out to center

0-0 after 1

Reds hacking away so far. Ludwick with a one pitch out, like Cozart.
Frazier lines the first pitch to center for a single though.
Heisey flies out to right.

Re: 8/11/12 - Reds at Cubs

With Votto out, this team has no one that goes up there and gives a professional at-bat each time. Reds are hackin' at the first pitch almost always.

Hey, just worked for Frazier though.

The Reds are making things incredibly easy for Travis Wood today. Not making him work at all.
