Ugh. Stubbs grounds out to 2nd. 11 left on base. 0-0 after 6.

Kinda wish Dusty had pinch hit X-Man for Stubbs.

For what it's worth, the NL record for most men stranded in a game is 18, and the MLB record is 20.

Wow do we need replay in baseball. Ball is a foot inside and it's called a strike. Amazing. Give each manager 3 challenges per game. It would take 2 seconds per challenge.

Good news... 12 runners on base in six innings.

Bad news... 12 runners left on base in six innings lol

It takes a pretty good offense to strand a lot of runners.

I agree. Just some bad luck/timing tonight. We're hitting well, just not 'timely' hitting. Keep at it and we'll break thru in a big way.

Unfortunate that this inning's rally all started with 2 down. And with the first 2 called "strikes" to Stubbs, his chances were pretty limited.

Re: 8-14-2012 Mets at Reds

Big play in this game was Stubbs' inability to get back on the Phillips liner. Even though I thought he did get back in time.

Ludwick then doubled, who knows how many runs might have scored.

Frustrating game so far.
