Re: 8-14-2012 Mets at Reds
Mets TV announcers commenting that it's odd Reds have two low OBP hitters at the top of the order.
Tell me about it. Another lead off double for the Reds. |

Re: 8-14-2012 Mets at Reds
Stubbs bunts the runner to third. I hate the bunt there, but Stubbs could easily K.
It was the right call - but only if it works. Otherwise, terrible decision. |

Re: 8-14-2012 Mets at Reds
One team gives up an out to get a runner to third, one team concedes a run in hopes of getting an out.

Re: 8-14-2012 Mets at Reds
I can't wait until Hamilton is up. That way he can steal second, third, and home.... all on one pitch. Bunting no longer necessary.

Full count on Phillips. Fouls it off.
Walk, first and third, one out, Ludwick up. |

Extreme flyball pitcher vs. flyball hitter. I like our odds here. Just sayin'.

Re: 8-14-2012 Mets at Reds
Ludwick flies out to shallow right. He misses the cutoff man letting Phillips go to 2nd.

Re: 8-14-2012 Mets at Reds
I think Cozart would have scored had he tagged up and ran. Bad throw by right fielder. Was shallow, understandable to hold, but. . . .
