Re: 8/21/2012 Reds at Phillies

here is a thought...keep Chapman as the closer and convert Madson into a starter.

Does Madson have any ML experience starting?

Bailey had a great sequence against Katz. Keep it up, Bailey.

Re: 8/21/2012 Reds at Phillies

I have some questions how successful Bailey can be without striking out more hitters or getting more ground balls.

But watching him tonight, I must say, Homer is light years ahead of previous seasons. He is mixing up his pitches well and has made some very good pitches when ahead in the count. He just seems like he knows what he's doing out there.

Earlier this season, it was also good how he got stronger near the end of games.

Just hope something clicks for Homer somewhere along the way. He's a talented guy who just seems an inch away from being a very good pitcher.

Stubbs, c'mon.

Utley singles past BP. Same spot as his last one basically.

Utley and Howard, Howard and Utley, Utley and Howard, Howard and Utley.

Just don't groove any pitches to them, Homer, you can handle the others.
