Goodness, if i'm reading this right, people are taking BABIP to such an extreme that half the hits in an inning are brushed off as not legitimate hits?
They're all legitimate hits. They all allowed runners to reach base safely. And I am stunned that now pitch location doesn't have anything to do with why guys might be able to hit the ball hard enough to make it through holes.

That inning, one fly out and two ground outs. However, none of the grounders was hit very well.

I'm not optimistic about putting three or more runs on Waino, but I will say in an attempt to be optimistic is that the Reds aren't having too much of an issue making contact on him thus far. So maybe some runs are forthcoming.
