I think that series against the Reds earlier in the month took a lot out of the Pirates.They took the last one of that series but it seemed like they came in with a chip on their shoulders and the Reds knocked it right off by winning the first two.They've been struggling ever since.

I don't know the numbers off hand, but it seems like their dive has coincided with Walker's injury and McCutcheon coming down to Earth.
