What can I say, other than joining in the sentiments of others, in that this is truly awful news. Freel always gave 100%!

Re: Ryan Freel commits suicide
Oh my god. Just unbelievable. Sad, tragic...and depressing. RIP Ryan.

Re: Ryan Freel commits suicide
Same here. I've known far too many people who've taken their own lives.

Re: Ryan Freel commits suicide
This is very, very sad. I really enjoyed Freel's time in Cincinnati. My prayers to his family.

Re: Ryan Freel commits suicide
I always felt a connection to Freel since he lived here in Jax. This is just wrong.

Re: Ryan Freel commits suicide
I didn't realize it, but he'd just recently been hired on to be a baseball coach. Unreal.

Re: Ryan Freel commits suicide
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Death, no matter the form is especially tough this time of year.
RIP Ryan....I'll always remember your amazing catch off of Pujols bat in GABP. It was the greatest defensive play I've ever seen live. The fans gave you a minute long standing ovation. Thanks for the memories....and I hope your soul finds some comfort somewhere. |
