With Votto due to return soon, just wanted to say that Brandon Phillips has been spectacular since Votto went down.
I said at the time that the veteran Reds like Rolen and Phillips had to show some leadership and boy have they come through. But in Phillips' case, his defense has been just off the charts. The play he made the other day to give Broxton his first out in the eighth inning was a very recent example. Hoover coming in, good choice. Let's close em down, JJ. |
