Yep gotta be Homer. Our first rounders on the roster are Homer (7), Leake (8), Stubbs (8), Bruce (12) and Mesoraco (15).

Re: 9/12/12 Pirates at Reds

Atlanta leads Milwaukee by one. You have to root against Milwaukee in the playoff hunt.

Reason is that if the Reds play Milwaukee in the playoffs they'll probably put the games on at 3 A.M.

Bottom 8 now, SD leads STL 3-2.

Ludwick is looking better IMO ever since that game winning single Monday. Showed good plate judgment that time, got some hits last night.

Homers to follow soon.

Re: 9/12/12 Pirates at Reds

The language around what people call different pitches is confusing. Welsh says Burnett is a classic sinker baller. But I don't see him throw a sinker. Danny Graves threw a sinker. The pitch Burnett throws that Welsh is talking about has to be a 2 seam fastball.

Rolen didn't get down the line that well. Not blaming him, don't want him pulling up lame, but the shortstop had an eternity to make the throw.
