Wow... This is going to be a wild ride.... Glad the Reds aren't going to be part of it.

Re: 9/12/12 Pirates at Reds
Deeeeep flyout to end the inning. A McCutchen single was the only blemish.

Re: 9/12/12 Pirates at Reds
Now Cards have four in LA. Should be a good series. Then Cards have some Astros and Cubs games.
Selig must be happy, lots of action for that wild card. |

Re: 9/12/12 Pirates at Reds
Both leagues might have 5 teams fighting over two spots although the AL is interesting because all three division races are still in play as well.

Re: 9/12/12 Pirates at Reds
I don't like it. Regardless of what St Louis did last year, the wild card team(s) rarely have a chance and if they do, the whole season was for naught. JMO.

The Phillies are unbelievably only 3 games out of the wild card. I know I don't want to see them in the playoffs.

Re: 9/12/12 Pirates at Reds
I think the Dodgers are the only team who I wouldn't hate to see win the 2nd WC seed. Really I hope the Braves beat whoever they face in the game.

Re: 9/12/12 Pirates at Reds
Wouldn't mind seeing Dusty rest Broxton and Marshall both tonight. Chappy is out of course.
Let Hoover pitch. Maybe Cingrani if lefties up. Don't want to deprive Homer of best relievers, but no need to push the main guys who worked Monday and Tuesday. |
