Johnny Impossible

Read all about it:

Quote:
“In one of the IMF’s most audacious plans yet the team blatantly frames their victim and attempts to snatch the body of a deceased leader literally from under the noses of the honor guards. It’s all part of Jim’s plan to infuriate an official into revealing a sensitive document the US government wants to get its hands on.”

Re: Johnny Impossible

Is it sad when you remember that episode when it first aired?

Re: Johnny Impossible

I also remember Johnny's appearances on Hee Haw, and Bobby Goldsboro.

I remember those two especially. He sung Cats in the Cradle on the Bobby Goldsboro Show IIRC. He also went to Viet Nam with the Bob Hope Show a couple of times. Bench was a real celebrity back in the 70's and well known throughout the country.

Re: Johnny Impossible

Difficult to imagine now how popular he was back in the early 70s since he played in small market Cincinnati. Of course, back then, the gap between small and large markets was narrower.

I can just hear Peter Graves now talking to Johnny Bench: "Johnny, have you ever seen a grown man naked?" (Airplane)

The mission called for an agent who could hold eight grenades in one hand.
