To a ballplayer, The Woo must be like expecting someone to yell Boogity while you're trying to make a putt. With Votto back, it was good of Dusty to be "The Gipper" for this team. Fox Sports Ohio covered the post-game celebration like NBC covered the Olympics. Who's looking forward to a Reds-Orioles grudge match? There's "dancing with the one who brung you," then there's choosing playoff rosters. To me, a walk-off is one guy trotting around the bases and everyone else walking off the field, not a runner scoring from first and the batter racing madly toward third. The Woo is like The Wave without the strenuous activity. |
