Re: 10/2/2012 Reds at Cardinals

Just to clarify......this team, full of mostly hackers who cannot work counts to save their lives....just all of a sudden, for a whole month....decided they would pace themselves and become more impatient and hacking like, are expected to just say "Now it's time to turn it on" when the playoffs start?

I feel like the Carl Reiner character in Ocean's Eleven....after hypothetically asking about robbing the casino and then says..."Oh, Ok then"

I would just walk Votto every time. Never throw him a strike if i was the opposing pitcher.

Thom just hates Bruce.

And Bruce shuts him up.

Or, line it into CF.

Big hit. Bruce lines a single to center. 2-1 Reds. 1st and 3rd.

Yanks with 1 run 11 hits tonight. See, it's not only the Reds who do that.

The Reds do not have the bench that the Yankees do. Clearly something that should be addressed as much as a CF ....is having a bench that you can actually count on to do anything other than make outs.

I think he frustrates him, just like anyone could.

Re: 10/2/2012 Reds at Cardinals

Marty had to pause midsentence trashing Bruce in order to call his RBI single.

Nationals have the bases loaded with no outs in the bottom of the 8th.

That call was awful. Rolen strikes out looking.
