Redszone hitting streak game

I just saw a contest on MLB.com called beat the streak. Basically you pick a player every day that you think will get a hit. If he does your hit streak continues, if he don't your streak ends. Anyone who beats dimaggio's 56 game streak wins season tickets to a team of their choice. I am going to set up a Redszone league but I have to enter e-mail addresses for them to send invites to. If you want in post your e-mail address and I will set it up later tonight. I don't know what the limit is for number of teams but I do know that I can invite players even after the rest of the league has started.

CAN I GET A STICKY PLEASE

I thought that's what it was but just wasn't sure that 71 was the right number for it. I saw something on television once that said it was originally called the rs71 but when the president first spoke about it (first time it had been officially spoken of) he mistakenly called it the sr71 and since no one should have heard of it yet they changed it's name to the sr71 to save face for the President.

Creek,
I was there when the last active sr71 landed at the Wright-Patt museum. That has to rank as one of the coolest things I have ever seen live! Apparently, the runway at the museum was the minimum length that they could land the plane on. They had to make a couple of touch and go's to get the plane down at the right spot. I had a perfect seat on the hill looking straight down the runway. When the pilot pulled up, it felt like we could reach up and touch the plane as it flew overhead. Absolutely AWESOME!!!

Hey Red Heeler, I was there too. In fact, I was on the hill too. The history of that plane is simply amazing. It would be before it's time, even today.

Now back to Holli's thread.

BTW, a couple 71's went back into service after that flight.
