Giants vs Leake

Sandoval 7-10 with two home runs and two doubles

Pence 6-18 with two doubles and a home run

Posey 4-8 with a home run

Pagan 2-6 with a double

Belt 1-7 with a double

Scutaro 2-3 with a triple

Crawford 1-9

Theriot 3-14

If it is indeed Leake that pitches tomorrow you have to go in expecting him to get rocked and hoping for the best. A very, very, short leash is in order here. SF is hitting .327 against Leake while posting an OPS of .938

Re: Giants vs Leake

If he goes today the bullpen has to be ready at anytime to come in and do their usual good job. He would have a short leash from me.

small sample SHELLING more like. I know it's with some limited AB's, but those are some pretty bad results.

Re: Giants vs Leake

At this point with the way the staff has been in this series I would not be suprised at all if Leake goes out and pitches a gem. However if he does get shelled I wouldnt even give him a leash. Im holding onto the collar. I just think Mike has to start. I dont feel comfortable with Latos and Arroyo both going on 3 days rest if the worse case scenario happens. Pitch Leake and like I said have Dusty and Bryan holding onto that collar with a death grip.

I was going to mention this start. If I remember correctly he beat Cain that night.

As if Zito is a good matchup in GABP for the Giants?
