I wouldn't deal Mesoraco. I think he'll be much better in 2013 and still has a very bright future.

Trading Rocco would be a mistake unless we can get back a legit 4 hole hitter. For real. I see him as more McCann/Weiters/Santana than Posey/Mauer/Montero but above average catchers with power aren't exactly common. I value him every bit as much as everyone did last year when he was sniffing top 10 mlb prospect lists

If we had signed Navarro to a longer term deal, or if we still had Grandal it would be one thing and this would seem more appealing to me, but with no real back up ready to fill in, I don't see how the Reds make any deal giving away Mez, no matter who we get back in return.

I'm not really a fan of trading Mes, but the multitude of Cincy/Tampa/Colorado and Cincy/Tampa/KC possibilities is making the "juicy off-season rumors" side of me go crazy.
