If I were a pitcher on an opposing team, I'd have a tremendous itch to put one in his hip if he sports a 100 on his jersey.

I suspect you'd then consider the ramifications of having to step to plate against Chapman after you drilled him and drop the idea altogether. Seriously, the pitcher who throws at Chapman has a death wish. You might even be mangled in your own dugout by hitters who don't want to face retaliation from him.
